A Dollywood Christmas

This is gonna be the dorkiest thing I've said to date on my blog, but Dollywood is my happy place!   I guess it's because I feel like I grew up going there, but even as an adult I still love it.  I can't wait for my kid's to love it as much as I do!  Michael had a free ticket from work, and I was able to buy a discounted ticket so we went  last week and upgraded to season passes for next year!  So excited!

 Tuckered out!

We also got to spend time with Michael's parents while we were there.

And although I don't have a picture to prove it, Michael was on this family trip also.

I just love the hat and coat that Kendall is wearing. If I ever have a little girl I will want her to have several outfits just like that. You know that I have always hoped for strictly little boys, but you have caused me to desire a little girl one day. Lol. Thanks for posting so much. I really do enjoy reading your blog.

How fun! Dollywood IS a happy place. Emily and I love to go ~my hubby doesn't love it...but we talk him into at least a couple trips each season ;)
Emily and I usually go two or three times in the spring (during the week) --gotta love homeschooling-- and then a couple of times in the fall. We don't enjoy it as much in summer when it's crowded. I am glad your family was able to get season passes. I love that it's so close to home and we get to enjoy going often. It's truly one of the most family friendly vacation spots.

Great pics of you and Kendall and I love that pic of Bro. Jones and Ms. Willie! I understand what you mean. Dollywood makes me smile! It just does. It's like stepping into a nicer world or something... one with rides and laughter. LOL We haven't been in 2 years now. My kids aren't happy. Unfortunately, it's their fault. They grew up and now none of them are free! :( We hope to buy passes again one year with income tax return, but this year it must go to bills. Anyway, I guess we'll just have to trust you that Michael was really there!!!! :)

Thanks Carrie. The hat and coat was a Christmas gift from my dad. I love it also. So many people buy for Kendall that it's a blessing. I don't have to buy her much, and when I do I can get the things I really love. It can also be a curse when Michael is carrying another tote box out to the storage shed. She needs her own storage! Oh and girls are so much fun! Thanks for reading.

Tis Mammy, I'm glad there are other Dolly Wood lovers out there.

Staci, you got my hopes all up! I thought you were gonna say you were buying passes this year. We could spend a day together in kiddie land, wouldn't that be fun? :)

We loved spending time with our baby and his "little" wife and baby girl. I never went to amusement parks growing up and our children went very few times. We never had the money for extras. Our kids went some to Six Flags with friends during their teen years. We enjoyed the Christmas shows at Dollywood. My husband would like the roller coasters if the weather was warmer. We always enjoy time with family wherever and whenever. A little Kendall time is worth the trip.
