Christmas 2014 Part Two

Our Christmas Festivities continued Friday Night a Mom's house with our immediate family.

I couldn't help but think how different things were from last year.  We had 3 new babies and a new husband (Jess',  not mine). We are a blessed family.  I never take enough pictures.  But we had a great time.  We ended up staying way to late because we were having fun playing games.

Babies into EVERYTHING!  It's great!

Then Saturday we headed to Michael's Family.  We didn't get to go on Christmas day because his nephew had been really sick, and we were nervous to have Kate down there.  We had a great time.  Here's the few pictures I snapped...

Christmas is exhausting, but so much fun and so worth it.

Christmas 2014 Part 1

The Holidays are always busy times for us, and this year was no exception. We celebrated Christmas over the span of 4 days.
We started off with Christmas Eve with just our little family.  We had a pretty slow paced morning and waited until late morning and opened gifts.  That night we went to our church service.

What more could a girl want?  Christmas PJs,  a girly necklace, lace socks,  a present to sit on, a present to open, and apple slices.

Both my girls

Rainboot were a hit with this girly girl!

Christmas Morning I walked in on this scene...

It doesn't get much better than this!

Later that morning we headed to my dad's house.

He had a full house!  I haven't got to spent a holiday with the Krings since I was a small child. It was really nice to spend time with family and cousins that I haven't seen in a long time.  That was special to me.  I wish I had took more pictures.

My dad and my girls.  Kendall was in full melt down mode, missing a nap.  Kate doesn't even look like Kate in this picture.  She is changing so much!
My Dad and one of my brother's boys, Cooper.

We left my dad's and headed to my pappaw's to have Christmas with my mom's extended family.

I just realized, we should have made our brother get in this picture.

Can you say cranky?

Kendall fell asleep in the car on the way home.  She was exhausted!  She never stays asleep through the process of getting out of the car and into the house.
Well, almost never.

 Stay tuned for part 2.....

I've said before that I love Dollywood.  Christmas at Dollywood is the icing on the cake!  Love it!  I was tickled we were able to go on Friday.

Christmas Banquet 2014

Last Saturday was our annual Christmas Banquet with our church family.  I have purposed to blog about it everyday since then...yikes...I can't get anything done during the day!  (but I wouldn't have it any other way!)  I love our church family.

Kendall's Peeps.  Why are church kids the meanest?  You can see it in their faces (mine included!)  :)  I love these kid's and hope my girls stay friends with them for many years to come!

Kate is 2 months old!

Kate Alaina, you are two months old.

At your two month appointment Thursday,

    You weighed: 12lbs 4.5 oz (75%)

    Your Height: 22 ½ (50%)

    Your head circumference: 15 ¼ (50%)

It’s no wonder that you have “chubbed” up a ton this month.  You are a huge fan of eating!  You like to nurse every 2 to 3 hours but usually closer to every 2 hours during the day.

You have slept through the night several times now.  But you are still not real consistent with it.  I feed you one last time usually around 9 or 10.  If you feel hungry during the night it’s usually at 2:30.  If not you will sleep until 5 or 6.

We have been hit and miss with a structured scheduled.  After the new year (when we get past the holiday craziness) we’ll get hard core with it.  It was about this same time that I started working with your sister on a schedule, so it’s almost time.

At night you are sleeping in Momma and Daddy’s room in a rock and play.  As a newborn, you did not like your bassinet.  We’ll going to try it out again soon.

You are wearing size 1 diapers.  Your clothes are mostly 3 to 6 months.  The 3 month outfits are quickly becoming too small!

You like bath time.  We are using the kitchen sink for your bath, although you did get in the tub the other night with Kendall.  You are pretty relaxed during your bath.

You don’t care much for tummy time.  It’s really hard to work it in the day hopefully we’ll do better this month.  You already have better control of holding your head up.

You are the biggest cuddle bug.  You sleep best when you are being held or cuddled.  Can you say “spoiled girl?”

You are starting to give small grins, but you don’ t give them out freely.  It takes likes of work to get you to grin.  That’s ok though, it won’t be long until you realize how funny we all are.

Your hair is starting to come back in.  You look like a little fuzz head instead of a slick onion head.

You have chilled out quite a bit this month.  You are more content when not being held, and for that your parents are grateful.

We are so glad that you are part of our family.  We love you so much!
