The last of my Christmas extravaganzas posts!

We left the snow covered McDonald and headed to my mom's around lunch time on Saturday.  As usual the house was packed with family.

My extremely cool papaw ruppe has a box of used shot gun shells.  He puts a paper into each shell to tell what he killed with it, the date and the time.  Looking at this kept the boys busy for a while.

Christmas adventures part two

Christmas continued for us on Friday. We spent a quiet morning at home together and shared Christmas as our family of two...and I totally didn't take one picture.

That evening we drove down to his mom's and dad's and enjoyed looking at Christmas lights with them. We went to bed and awoke to a very white Christmas on Saturday.

Christmas recap numero uno

Our Christmas rush-around-like-mad-men festivities began on Thursday with Christmas at my mom's.

Doesn't my mommy look like herself again?

We were a little confused with this present.....mom might look like herself again, but she still has blond moments of accidentally writing the wrong names on presents.

Renee got a really cool gumball machine!

Update

Two snow days in a row has made this chicka one happy girl.    Laundry is clean, folded, and get this...Put Up.  Christmas treats are baked and lying on the counter.  Presents are wrapped and under the tree. I even feel like a take a minute to catch up on some long over-due blogging.   Life has been busy in the Jones' Home but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I guess I'll start this update back at Thanksgiving. Since the driving distance between our families is long, this year we stayed at the Jones' all day.  We had a good day and Michael took some pictures.

Now we are full force in preparing for the Christmas season.  I love the business but was feeling a little stressed.  I was relieved to have a couple snow days to get caught up at the house.  I hope to post a few pictures from around the house and at the Christmas Banquet during the next few days.  Until then....
