I love Christmas! It's hands down my favorite holiday. I want my kids to enjoy it as much as I do. And while we will be doing tons of fun and silly things, I want it to be a time we focus on the Savior! With this being Kendall's First Christmas, I'm so excited to start family traditions!
Tomorrow I'm starting a fun new series that I'm super excited about!
Everyday (I hope) until Christmas I'll be posting a idea for a tradition I'd like to do in the Jones' household. Some of them Kendall will not be big enough for just yet. I'll just mention the idea of something I want to do later on. If it's something we can do now, I'll include our pictures of it.
Maybe someone else can find inspiration from these posts. If not, it may just be fun taking a glimpse into our Christmas festivities.
I hope to still post a few posts about our everyday life here and there. (Like our 10 month post, should go up today, fingers crossed). This should be my busiest blog month yet :).
One last thing, I'm gonna try super hard not to be guilty of making the holidays too busy. This one is hard for me. :)
See you tomorrow!

Life Lately
Things stay so busy around our house, but I wouldn't want it any other way.
- Kendall had her 9 month appointment on Friday. She weighs 18 lbs and 5 oz (25-50%). She is 27 3/4 inches long (50%), and her head circumference is 18.3 inches (95%).
- I really don't think my child's head looks that big, am I in denial? ...be honest, I can handle it.
- I have been elbow deep in paper mache rocks for the past few weeks. And I won't lie, I'm kind of getting over it! And I think Michael would like the dining room table back. Hopefully they will turn out ok. They are the first of many projects for the church's Christmas play.
- Kendall is on her second cold of the season. Yuck!
- I'm really worried about this whole keeping her alive thing. She has become quite the dare devil since she started pulling up. She falls several times a day. Can you say BUSY?

Quick Pics
It's been awhile since my last quick pic post...so I have several.
Punky took this today. She and Mom watched Kendall while I went to a my last Chiropractor appointment. This is what I call the goober look!
Little girl sucks her fingers and pulls her blanket up to her face to go asleep. Love!
Yikes, this was a messy house day :) Keeping it real for you.
TMI warning, but this seat was a life saver one day when I HAD to potty at Wal-mart. It was probably covered in all kinds of gross germs I don't want to think about but she loved it.
Happy girl eating out, pic is courtesy of my mom. Actually the next few are also courtesy of mom. You can tell when I use my ancient phone for pics.
Ready for church yesterday.

I like her better than I thought I would
I have a confession to make..and it may make you like me less than you did before...I'm not a huge baby fan. Saying it out loud Typing it out loud makes me feel like a horrible a person. I have never been a baby person...there has to be a 12 step program for losers like me!
Before you unfollow my blog, let me say, I love kids. Hello, I was a teacher. :)
Something happened a few years back and I wanted a baby of my own so bad. But not for the baby part. I wanted what the baby would become. I wanted a kid...I wanted a kid so bad, I was willing to tolerate the baby part. Everyone says that stage flies by...surely I could make it through.
Then came Kendall. Nothing has been the same since. Am I a baby fan now? I'm not sure, But I'm a big Kendall fan. And a big Jones' baby fan. If finances and age weren't a problem, I'd have at least 12 Jones' babies! I guess it's because my babies are so much superior to yours. Just kidding, kind of.
I have loved every second of her life, well if you subtract a couple of the fits we've already seen :). I know I am beyond blessed to have her. So many people would give anything to have a baby. I loved her as a newborn when she was so soft, cuddly, and innocent. I loved her as a little baby, as she started to smile, and roll over. I love her now as a slightly bigger baby. As she is starting to crawl, pull up, and get into EVERYTHING!
The point to this post? There isn't one. Unless you count the fact that I'm head over hills in love with my daughter, even if she is a baby.
I've been told that you love each stage better & better. I partly hope that's not true..I'm not sure I'll be able to handle much more love!

October Camping Trip Part One
We were thrilled that we were able to take a fall camping trip. We went Monday-Friday of last week. This time we went to Pigeon Forge.
We stayed at Up the Creek Campground...which was too cute. We had the best time! This will be picture overload, so I will divide it into 2 posts.
Beautiful Fall colors!
We loved how much room we had behind the camper and the cute lil creek.
Silly Momma forgot to bring a blanket to the photo shoot. It was a fight the whole time keeping leaves out of this cutie's mouth!
About 2 minutes after we picked her up, she got choked. It was hands down the most scared that I have ever been! I ended up with my fingers down her throat, and she threw up, then all was well again. All we can figure is that she managed to get a leaf in her mouth we didn't catch. Lesson learned!
Stay tuned for part 2....

Kendall is 9 Months Old!
Kendall Paige, you are 9 months old! Only 3 months away from the big first birthday! Ekkkkk!
You are a eating machine. You'll eat as much as we will feed you. We have started feeding you some table food this month, in addition to your bottle, and baby food. You tried Spaghetti (which you did not like the texture), apple, biscuits and gravy, mashed potatoes, and small bites of chicken & turkey. You completely gave up nursing this month, with your first cold.
You have 5 teeth now! 2 on the bottom, that are shining in some of these pictures, and 3 coming through on the top.
You think you are big stuff crawling all over the house! You are just starting to pull up. You can get on your knees, and occasionally your feet. But you are super unsteady with it!
You are still taking 3 naps, but I won't be surprised if you cut back to 2 this month. You sleep 12 to 13 hours at night, which Momma thinks is wonderful!
You love sleeping, especially in your own crib! You are great to put yourself to sleep! You like to suck your two fingers, and pull a small blanket up next to your face to cuddle.
You are still in the same size clothes: 12 month
sleepers, 18 month dress, size 3 diapers. You are wearing a size 2 shoe
now.
You love "walking" by holding hands with someone helping you. You tend to walk on your tippy toes.
You moved to a bigger car seat this month. Still rear facing but sitting up taller and more leg room :)
It's been a great 9 months!
