Our Weekend

We've had a pretty low key weekend....just the way I like it!

Michael was off Friday.  We hung around the house most of the day.  I declared it my lazy day!  I didn't do much other than feed Kendall.  It's nice to have a day off  every once and awhile.  That evening mom called and we met her and Wendell at Cracker Barrel.  Kendall batted her eyes at Meme and scored a new headband for the 4th of July.  It's never too early to start planning outfits.  :)

Saturday was another around the house day, only not so lazy.  I did most of my house cleaning.   I miss the days where I could get all the cleaning done in one day.  That girl of mine was anti-nap yesterday.  She was wearing me down!  I will say I'm able to get more done during the week now that I'm home all day.  Although, as I just flopped down in my chair, I commented how I think the house is messier now than before I cleaned...but that's Sundays for you!

Today was a normal Sunday.  My Kendall alarm woke me up at 5:30AM so I just decided to stay up.  I was able to feed her twice, iron clothes for all three of us, give her a bath, get myself ready, make chocolate chip muffins from scratch (so easy and yummy!), and get lunch going in the crock pot.  I normally don't get near that much accomplished on Sunday Mornings.

We had a good morning service at church, and came home to enjoy lunch.

This afternoon I took Kendall out twice to take some outdoor pictures.  She was in a serious mood...no smiles.  :)  But We still got a few keepers.

We managed to fit in a Sunday Afternoon nap.   Well I think Michael got a little nap, Kendall and I played the try-to-sleep-while-holding-the-paci-in-the-baby's-mouth-game.  Not so fun.  And the baby won!

Then it was back to church for the evening service.  The most stressful part of the weekend was spilling my sonic sweet tea all over Kendall's white sweater and the cabinets and floor.  Not much of a glamorous weekend.  But it was perfect for our little family!

She is giving some looks that I always chalked up to the Thomasson side of the family, but apparently it comes from the Jones' side since she has the look, too. How funny! I love her skirt and head band. Thanks for the pick-me-up! :)
