2011 Smilebox

I'm way behind on posting my annual smilebox.  Spring break is treating me well!  These are my favorite pictures from 2011.  You can check out 2010 here,  (I totally skipped 2009) and 2008 here.   Enjoy!

Family Smilebox

I'm busy preparing for the new school year.  I hate laying in bed at night exhausted but can't sleep because my mind won't slow down.  It's just that time of year.

I created a new smilebox for my school website. At least I can mark something off the list.  :)

A Random Anniversary Post

Life has been full, busy, and good. We are finally completely
moved into the new house.  I plan on posting more pictures soon.

Today marks our two year anniversary.  It has honestly been the best two years of my life!  I can't want for 82 more together.  A couple of weeks ago, I started recording some witty things that I have learned during the last two years in expectation of a great post.  However I didn't get much further than there is a right and wrong way to load toilet paper on the holder....so I don't guess I'll be posting that anytime soon....there's always next year.

A couple weeks ago we went to visit Michael's uncle Gary who just moved to Maryville.  After lunch we hiked to a place called Look Rock.  It was beautiful!

I always spend the fourth of July with my good ole Jen.  It's a private joke with us.  We enjoyed watching the fireworks in Kingston.

Realizing summer will be soon over, I've been starting to update my school website for the 2010-2011 school year.  I'll end with posting this smile box I made to go on there of my family.

Good Bye 2008

Dear 2008,

It is so hard to believe that it is already time for you to be leaving. It seems like you just moved in. And now at your departure, I'm kind of sad. I wish you would stick around. The Lord has been so good to me while you've been here. Yes, the Lord is always good but for some reason I've felt extra blessed while you've been here. Maybe it's because I met you as a newly engaged gal....or maybe because you were around during the time of my wedding. And now....I'll only see you in pictures and memories.

In a way I wish you could stick around...but then again I'm excepting great things from Mr. 2009.

I will miss you my friend, 2008, but I will never be able to forget you!

With all my love,

Stephanie

*To my other non-year friends, enjoy this smilebox. I must warn you that it's kind of long. It's all the pictures I could find of Michael and me from 2008, minus our engagement pictures. (I'm really sad about that but my copier will not let me scan them because I'm out of yellow ink. Mind you, I'm not wanting to print them, just scan them to my computer...but this is a whole nother post in it's self!) Some of these pictures I stole...I mean borrowed from Jen's blog....they might be a little blurry because they are stolen. Enjoy

I'm enjoying a quiet Christmas Eve at home. I'm a little sad because Michael has to work but hopefully he'll be home soon. I've been sitting here reminiscing last Christmas. As a newly engaged gal, I spent Christmas overseas with Dad and Bryan. Although I missed Michael, Kosovo, Italy, and Switzerland were awesome. Think I'll make a smilebox to share some pictures.

Last night we went to my moms and exchanged gifts. For those of you who will see mom, check out the big rock on her finger....you'll be jealous!
Tomorrow we are gonna have a full day between going to his parents and mine. I'm excited. Which reminds me, I need to run to Kroger's and Walgreen's to get a few last minute baking ingredients and a gift bag. If I don't see you today or tomorrow.....

Merry Christmas!!!!!
(hope to see you soon Dad!)
