The past 5 days have seemed like a dream. It's hard to believe that our baby is really here. My due date isn't until February 28. Obviously she was a bit excited to get out and meet the world. In a couple of days I plan to blog all the nitty gritty details of her "birth" day. Well, maybe not all, but the important things I want to remember and don't mind to have plaster on the internet. :)
She has been the best baby so far. I'm pretty sure Michael and I are going to be in for a rude awakening at some point...but right now we are enjoying it.
She left the hospital with jaundice. It progressively got worse. Yesterday her bilirubens were up to 19. So home health care brought lights we had keep her under for photo therapy. Today her numbers were much lower. Her pediatrician was tickled with her improvement. Hopefully they will stay down.
We truly feel blessed that God has entrusted this little life into our care. He is so good to us. I can't wait to share more details (and pictures) of our miracle.

And I can't wait to see all the pics and hear all about it! :) I tell parents that every baby is "the best baby" until around 2 weeks old. Then it's like they finally realize they're out and they can cry when they want! haha I did have 2 that were dream boats, though, so you may just STAY lucky. So glad her jaundice is doing better! She such a little dolly!
Beautiful! Love the head full of hair!
Congratulations! She is beautiful!
