Camping

      Over the weekend we had a chance to go on a quick camping trip.  A few weeks back, we were able to purchase a small camper.  We are excited about future family time together.  

 

 Kendall's favorite place to be!

 We had lots of yummy food.  And fun together.  We went to Cumberland Mountain State Park.  Mimi and Poppy also went.

 Wasn't the best time of day to take pictures out in the sun but we had to snag one with the bridge in the background.

 

    Now we are going through what I call "baby detox".  Kendall decided she liked being the central of the universe.  Grandparents are gonna be the death of this momma!  :)

Happy Grandparents Day

    Kendall is soooo blessed to have wonderful wonderful grandparents in her life! We are so thankful for all they do and mean to us.

 I hope Kendall is as close to her grandparents growing up as I was to mine.

   Pinterest (of course) provided us with small craft gift idea for the grandparents.

Kendall is Seven Months

  Kendall Paige, you are seven months old.

You didn't have a doctor appointment this month so Momma can't list your official stats.  According to Dad's home weighing methods, you are about 18 pounds.  

You are still the curious girl.  Everything you see, you must grab.  Although you have a high chair now, most of the time you eat in your bumbo on top of the island.  As soon as we set you down, you do a 180 to see what's in your reach.

Speaking of eating, you love your food!  With the exception of your oatmeal, rice cereal, and applesauce, Momma is still making your food.  So far you have ate: sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, avocado, corn, peas, and bananas.  You like everything you try.  Hopefully we'll add lots of new tastes this month.   You have cut way back on nursing.  

You still have just one lonely tooth.  It's cute though.

You are a rolling machine!  You are also soooo close to army crawling.  Yesterday, you were scooting all around the living room.  You are using mostly your arms but sometimes a little foot action too.  It may be awhile before you figure how to get up on your knees and really crawl.  

You are still on a four hour schedule.  You take 3 naps a day.  I have a feeling we are about to drop back to just 2 naps.  You are starting to show signs that you are ready to be up more.  You sleep about 11 hours at night.  Usually going to bed around 8 and getting up around 7 or 7:30.  Mom refuses to get you up before 7!!!   You always lie in your crib in the mornings and chat with yourself until Momma gets you.  You have figured out the way to melt Momma's heart is by dieing laughing as soon as you see her.  So precious!

You are wearing size 3 diapers.  Your pajamas and sleepers are all 12 months now.  Dresses are 12 months and some 18 months.  

You are still sucking 2 fingers.

You have started reaching for people.

 

You are a hoot right now!  So much fun personality.  Momma and Daddy are loving every single day that they get to spend with you.

Here's our last week in cell pictures....

    Girlfriend LOVES her food.  One of her inherited qualities from her momma!  She starts making the excited noises when she sees it coming.  And she tends to eat with her arms out like in the picture.

     Her first time to sit in the buggy.  She's still not sitting solo but is close. She was fine as long as she was buckled.  This was towards the end of the Walmart trip.  She was pretty tuckered!
